Video continues to be one of the most fundamental components in a digital marketing strategy for any business. Statistics show that over 80% of businesses use video as part of their marketing strategy. And that is no surprise when you consider us as human beings, as we are largely a visual species, learning from what the eye takes in. According to Insivia viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video, compared to 10% when reading it in text. This is a good reason for all businesses to consider using video content in their business.
Are you looking to create video content for your business but without the huge cost of hiring a video marketing agency?
Here at West Suffolk College we operate a commercial arm of the media dept called iDea which functions as a fully equipped film production studio operated by students and managed by Tony Haer. Students work directly with external clients to produce high quality videos for training, promotion and various other artistic endeavours.
On average we work on about 30 different projects a year which provides the students with much needed real world experience of working with a client. It also helps to give the students an advantage in terms of the equipment they have access to and fulfils their requirements for mandatory 40 hrs each a year of work experience.
