The Halo Programme to launch in Suffolk in 2025
In partnership with Suffolk County Council, Connected Innovation and the British Business Bank, Anglia Capital Group are excited to be bringing The Halo Programme to Suffolk in 2025.
The Halo Programme, designed by real angel investors, is an investment readiness programme which takes participants through an intensive 10-week series of workshops to help them prepare to take on angel investment. Workshops cover a range of topics including:
- Knowing your market
- Demystifying legal documents
- Financial forecasts and tax
- How to build the best team
- How to value your business
- Pitch building
- Pitch practice
“Following two successful cohorts which were run in Norfolk, we’re thrilled to be working with Suffolk County Council to bring The Halo Programme to Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for start-ups in Suffolk to access this fully-funded investment readiness programme. We’re also delighted to have received support from Connected Innovation and British Business Bank to enable us to expand the delivery of the programme. Companies in our first cohort of the programme have gone on to raise over £350,000 which shows what fantastic results can be achieved through delivering the right support at the right time to early-stage businesses.” Hannah Brynn, Managing Director, Anglia Capital Group.
Supported by mentors drawn from Anglia Capital Group’s network of angel investors and successful company founders, the programme offers a fantastic opportunity to receive one to one advice from industry and subject matter experts.
The programme will culminate in a finale showcase where participants will deliver their pitch to an invited audience from across the local business community. A panel of expert judges will score the pitches and provide constructive feedback.
Cllr Richard Smith MVO, Suffolk County Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Economic Development and Skills, said:
“We’re excited to collaborate with Anglia Capital Group, Connected Innovation and the British Business Bank to bring the Halo Programme to Suffolk. Supporting early-stage businesses to become pitch-ready and investment-ready is key to a strong local economy, and this personalised programme will equip entrepreneurs with the tools, expertise and confidence they need as they prepare to take their business to the next level.
If your startup or business is ready to seek investment, please do register your interest today.”
Applications are welcomed from start-ups based in Suffolk that meet the following criteria:
- Based in Suffolk
