StrategiQ Named Business Of The Year
In 2019, we were delighted to be named Best Employer at the Suffolk Business Awards, in recognition of our approach to employee development. A year or so later, we are celebrating again after picking up the ‘Business of the Year’ and ‘Small and Medium Business’ awards.
Success in a challenging year
This year’s Suffolk Business Awards were held virtually as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. In what has been a very challenging year for all businesses, many of the finalists were selected for the strength and resilience they have shown in the face of such adversity.
Four businesses also received a ‘Changing Lives Special Recognition Award’ for repurposing their services to help others during the pandemic.
In awarding StrategiQ the ‘Business of the Year’ and ‘Small and Medium Business’ awards, the judges recognised the growth trajectory that we have managed to maintain throughout the Covid-19 crisis, as well as our innovative approach to furlough that kept the team energised and engaged with the needs of clients.
Additionally, the judges highlighted StrategiQ as “a shining example of how an unswerving focus on a set of core values can enable a business to thrive”, while also praising our “sound, holistic approach to getting the best for clients”.
Andy Smith, CEO of StrategiQ, said: “We are overwhelmed to be named the best business in Suffolk, especially considering the calibre of our fellow winners and finalists. It is a reward for the commitment and attitude of every member of our team, all of whom care deeply about our clients’ businesses and navigating them successfully through these testing times. We are excited for the next phase of our growth and working with yet more fantastic clients.”
We would like to thank the East Anglian Daily Times for organising such a seamless event in the circumstances, as well as the judges and category sponsors. Our congratulations also go out to the other companies and individuals that were named either winners or finalists.
