Industry disrupters Quoox arrive at The Innovation Centre Knowledge Gateway
Quoox have just moved into the Centre and we wanted to know a bit more about their Gym Management Software, designed by gym owners for gym owners.
We caught up with founders Ben Brand and Chris Windram to find out a bit more about what makes Quoox such an innovative solution for gyms and fitness businesses.
Can you share a little bit about your business?
Quoox provides a comprehensive, turn-key facility and member management software solution to the Fitness & Well-being Industry. Our customers typically operate boutique gyms and studios, focussed on providing the highest level of service to their members. Our software helps them run and grow their business, streamlining their workflows, and helping them make their business profitable.
Quoox was conceived in 2018, and soft launched in March 2020.
What services do you provide?
We provide a next-generation software management solution to the Fitness & Well-being industry, enabling our customers to provide the highest level of service to their members and to deliver more than they would otherwise be able.
We work with strategic partners to deliver additional complementary content and services, delivering a “one-stop shop” solution for the industry. Typically, a gym or studio may operate upwards of 8 different, disjointed software products. Quoox replaces all of those, streamlining their businesses; saving them time; and saving them money.
What are you working on at the moment?
We are constantly developing our product and release new functionality and enhancements every couple of months. We are presently working on an innovative new idea that will be something new to the industry and will, once again, distinguish us from our competitors.
Why did you decide to join the Innovation Centre?
Having opened just before COVID “became a thing”, we never got the opportunity to “put down roots”. Instead, we grew entirely during lockdown, taking on home-workers across the country.
Having amazingly managed to beat our targets during 2020, despite COVID, 2021 is an important year of growth for Quoox. We were seeking a base in which we could grow our team and could attract the sorts of people that will represent our business to the highest level. The Innovation Centre provides the perfect growth platform for us. The facilities are second-to-none, and the Centre team goes above-and-beyond.
How have your first few weeks been and what would you say to a growing business considering moving here?
The first few weeks have been great. Neil, Georgina, Byrony and the team have helped us in every way they could and getting in and set up was quick and painless. I would highly recommend the centre to any tech business looking to grow, in a professional, fun environment.
What do the next 6-12 months look like for Quoox?
The next 6-12 months will be pivotal for Quoox. We are growing at a considerable rate and expect to triple-to-quadruple our headcount during the course of the next year.
We continue to grow our client base in the UK, Ireland, US, and Australia, and are also building new, exciting strategic partnerships that will be valuable both to us, and to our customers.
We are proud to have Quoox based here at the Innovation Centre. If you are interested in how you can be part of the centre, please contact us at info@innovationcentre-kg.co.uk or 01206 405 500
