Anglia Capital Group Members & New Anglia Capital Strengthen Support for UEA Spin-out Beep with follow-on investment of £100,000

Beep has created a unique digital campus card, allowing university students to gain door and facilities access around campus via a smartphone.

Beep first secured investment from ACG members in 2022. In the 18 months since this first investment, the team at Beep have made significant progress.

Since their first pitch, the Beep platform has been built and launched globally. As the leading provider of digital campus cards in the UK and Europe, Beep are in a strong position to capture the higher education market in the UK, with a view to expanding to additional markets across the world. Pilots are currently underway with multiple universities in the UK and overseas.

The ambitious team at Beep have plans to build out their existing partner ecosystem to introduce new revenue streams and features. They also intend to expand into the lucrative US and APAC markets in the next four years.

Beep’s vision is to become the go-to, leading supplier of digital campus cards to universities all over the world. Beep is intended to serve as an ‘eco-system’ for student technologies, allowing for cards to be used for a range of different purposes and to work with multiple suppliers. The Beep platform itself offers a 95% market penetration at universities, and therefore offers significant value beyond access control, making it an attractive platform for technology and promotional partners going forward.
