Finance of Tomorrow

September 8, 9 and 10

UK-headquartered FinTechs and financial institutions are invited to express their interest in joining the UK delegation to the Finance of Tomorrow event, taking place from 8 to 10 September in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as part of the Department for Business and Trade’s (DBT) efforts to promote international collaboration in financial innovation.

What is Finance of Tomorrow?

Finance of Tomorrow is a high-level event focused on regulation and innovation in financial services across Latin America. It brings together regulators, policy bodies, fintechs, and industry leaders to foster cross-border collaboration, with the UK playing a key role in shaping the dialogue. The inaugural edition in 2024 welcomed over 450 participants (63% in director-level roles or above) alongside 140 speakers and 243 institutions, offering strong visibility for UK fintechs and direct access to key stakeholders in a rapidly evolving market.

Why Latin America?

Latin America is rapidly positioning itself as a global fintech hub, driven by strong demand for open finance, digital assets, sustainable finance, and cross-border payment solutions. With dynamic markets and progressive regulatory agendas, the region offers strategic opportunities for UK firms looking to expand internationally and engage with high-growth ecosystems.

Expressions of Interest

The UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) works across Latin America to strengthen connections between the region’s financial innovation ecosystems and the UK. As part of this effort, DBT is offering logistical support (covering travel and accommodation) for a small number of UK fintechs selected to join the delegation.

Please note that selected companies will be responsible for purchasing their own event tickets.

If your company is interested in joining the UK delegation, please complete the Expression of Interest form by 11:59pm (BST) on Friday 15 August 2025.

Please note: Applications will be reviewed, and outcomes shared by mid-August. Finance of Tomorrow is an open event, and companies may also register independently via the official website. Submitting an expression of interest is intended for those seeking DBT support for travel and accommodation, and does not include event tickets.
