Fargo Systems Appoints John Thompson as Chairman and Welcomes David Landau as Non-Executive Director

Fargo Systems, the leading provider of intermodal transport management software, is strengthening its board of directors by appointing John Thompson as Chair and David Landau as a Non-Executive Director. Following August Equity’s recent investment, these strategic additions bring deep expertise in SaaS, supply chain technology, and business growth, reinforcing Fargo Systems’ position as an industry leader.

John Thompson, a seasoned executive with over two decades as a SaaS Founder and CEO, has mentored and coached over 30 tech CEOs. He brings significant experience in scaling technology businesses, having chaired multiple high-growth tech companies through expansion and successful acquisitions. His expertise will be instrumental in driving Fargo Systems’ next phase of growth and innovation.

David Landau joins the board as a Non-Executive Director, bringing extensive experience in supply chain and logistics technology. Having held key leadership roles at Manhattan Associates, BluJay Solutions, and Transporeon, David has a proven track record in product strategy, business transformation, and scaling operations. His leadership at BluJay Solutions contributed to the company’s significant growth, transformation and eventual acquisition by E2open, while his tenure at Transporeon saw him overseeing network strategy, alliances and M&A. His industry knowledge and strategic insights will support Fargo Systems in enhancing its solutions and expanding its market presence.
