Marketing and Communications Coordinator
This exciting new role will suit a dynamic and forward-thinking marketing person with a strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude. To meet the requirements for this role you will need to have at least two years’ experience in business related marketing and engagement.
Working closely with local businesses and strategic partners, you will take the lead role in implementing an effective marketing communications strategy that promotes a wide range of products, services and events that support local business, as well as delivering clear and creative copy and content for PR and on and offline marketing campaigns and delivering direct mail and telephone campaigns.
This exciting and creative role would suit a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with the relevant qualifications and experience to reflect our excellent business services through a variety of Marketing and Communications concepts. With excellent verbal and written communications skills, you will be able to research, write and edit news articles, columns and case studies for delivery to the local media and online, as well as delivering e-marketing and product campaigns.
With a keen interest in the local business community in Norfolk and Suffolk, you will be able to initiate and develop ideas opportunities that help to raise awareness of the services we offer, building strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. Some travel is required so access to transport is essential.
With a collaborative and proactive approach, you will have the ability to ‘think on your feet’ and problem solve under pressure as well as taking action and resolve issues as they arise, finding positive outcomes for customers and the business.
You will regularly have competing priorities, and so the ability to multi-task and manage your time efficiently is a must. The role requires excellent networking and negotiating skills and a positive and flexible approach to working, including some out of hours work. Due to the nature of this role some travel is required and so a full driving licence and access to transport is necessary.
You must also have an appropriate SFEDI or other relevant professional qualification or willingness to work towards achieving this.
This post is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Initially for a fixed term ending on the 31st August 2018 and only continuing subject to an extension of funding.
