Supporting Socially-Motivated Tech

Technology innovation driven by social purpose gives us a new way to look at how we plan for the future, support people and build a world that is sustainable and prosperous for all.

Many of today’s technological advances owe their success to collective effort. When it comes to socially motivated tech, collaboration between individuals and communities in need and tech developers is a truly powerful force, enabling some of the most transformative ventures to achieve significant impact.

Industry can help create a fertile environment for scaling new social tech ideas, not only through funding support but through access to expertise and networks.

The Vodafone Techstarter social innovation award will support the UK’s efforts to create the best environment for developing and scaling new innovations that will contribute positively to the world in which we live.
