Artificial Intelligence (AI) is currently a hot topic in various fields. Most agree that AI will be one of the key technologies – even on a par with Blockchain and DLT – exerting influence on the finance industry over the next few years. Yet there is a marked lack of clarity around the definition of AI. Major financial institutions and startups are experimenting with different methods of machine learning, but there is a sense that AI could go much further than that.
