The Finance One

The Scale-up report by Sherry Coutu CBE (Nov 2014) listed the following factors, in order of importance, as the key reasons why companies are unable to scale in the UK:

·  Finding employees to hire who have the skills they need

·  Building their leadership capability

·  Accessing customers in other markets / home market

·  Accessing the right combination of finance

·  Navigating infrastructure

We are looking to give time to give some time to each of these issues over the next year starting this month with accessing the right combination of finance. The interest shown during Neil Miles talk on starting a business, and specifically on accessing business funding has helped drive this event.

The night will provide an overview of funding opportunities available followed by a question panel, we ask that for the panel you submit your questions when registering for the event to allow the panel time to prepare good responses.

As always refreshments will be provided courtesy of Tech East.
