Sync the City 2018
The 54-Hour Startup Event
After the roaring success of Sync the City 2014 2015, 2016 and 2017, SyncNorwich & UEA are again bringing it to you this autumn. Sync the City 2018 is a 54 Hour event that brings together budding entrepreneurs with experienced business mentors and technology expertise, during which groups of entrepreneurs, developers, business managers, marketing gurus, graphic artists pitch ideas for new startup companies. For a flavour of last year, please see the 2016 videos and photos.
You will form teams around those ideas and develop a working prototype and demo, and present to a panel of judges.
This is more than your average Hackathon. It’s a three day frenzy of start-up building that could win you and your team £4,000 in cash prizes (£3,000 judges’ winner and £1,000 people’s choice), as well as sales training from Sandler Training and one year associate membership of Norfolk Network.
Come and experience what it’s like to work in a tech startup for 3 days – for fun, or maybe even for profit! For some background details about what to expect at the event, see our blog post on Norfolk TechJournal.
t’s happening again! This time we have a new venue, hosted at OPEN Norwich Youth Trust!
