Suffolk Sustainability and Innovation Summit
The first Suffolk Sustainability and Innovation Summit will be held at the University of Suffolk on 2nd February 2018 within the Ipswich Waterfront Innovation Centre (IWIC). This event will bring together Industry and Academic Leaders, businesses, students and key stakeholders to reflect on how innovation is unlocking the true value of incorporating sustainability in to business strategy.
The University, in partnership with Suffolk County Council, is delighted to be launching the Suffolk Sustainability Institute (SSI) at this event. This Institute will provide consultancy, and research; support innovation and enable knowledge transfer and skills development for business, community, policy and place makers, in Suffolk and through UK wide established networks. The Institute will provide a regional centre of excellence for transforming, and supporting a constant dynamic progression towards UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
