Freeport East launches IoT, Robotics & Automation workshops in Jan 2026 to bridge skills gap and boost regional digital capability.

Freeports are rapidly becoming hubs for high-tech innovation, advanced manufacturing, and smart logistics. As investment flows into our region, the demand for digital capability is outpacing supply. To remain globally competitive, local employers urgently need a workforce equipped with the confidence to manage and optimise automated technologies.

In direct response to this critical skills gap, Innovate Mastery is proud to partner with the Eastern Education Group and the Freeport East Skills Escalator to launch a targeted training initiative next January.

Introducing a 10-Hour (2x5hr) IoT, Robotics & Automation Workshop (start date on Tuesday 27 January and Tuesday 3 February 2026)

This interactive programme is designed to provide learners with knowledge that goes beyond theory into practical application. Providing them with the skills needed to start real-world implementation.

Course highlights include:

🔹 Understand IoT connectivity by building a simple IoT device

🔹 Explore industry connectivity standards and their uses

🔹 Robotics and Automation, understanding the difference and how they can work together.

🔹 Strategic Digital Adoption for Productivity & Sustainability

By developing these skills locally, we are strengthening the pipeline of future-ready technicians and engineers needed to drive economic success across the Freeport ecosystem. This is essential for employers looking to unlock productivity gains and for individuals seeking to future-proof their careers.

Join us in January 2026 to get future-ready.
