Suffolk’s annual hackathon, Innovate Suffolk, is a place to turn ideas into businesses, faster than you’ve ever dreamed. The event aims to bring together the technology and startup talent from across the county in an open inclusive way. The event looks to connect people, communities and resources to solve real-world problems, build long-term, viable collaborations and nurture scalable businesses.

This month’s SYNC Ipswich will hear from event founder Simon Arnold, who will explain about the second 48 hour startup hackathon and explain what the challenges will be in March 2020.

We will also hear from last year’s winning team Stress Buddy, who have been working hard on their digital concept. Founders Kara Thurkettle and Shaun Plummer will detail their story so far and explain how Suffolk’s tech business community can help them realise their dream even further.

f you’d like to hear how to sign up for this years Innovate Suffolk, come along to January’s SYNC. The venue has kindly been provided by Ipswich Makerspace (https://ipswichmakerspace.com/). The event is free to attend and open to all. We’ll have pizza kindly sponsored by Fortis Recruitment (https://fortisrecruit.co.uk/).

We look forward to seeing you soon.
