The Suffolk Centre for Female Entrepreneurs at the University of Suffolk is hosting ‘Gals that Game’ on 2-3 August 2019. This event is the first all-female games jam at the University of Suffolk, offering a friendly and supportive environment for those interested in exploring the field of game development.

We are excited to be supported by Women in Games, as well as local games developers.

The event begins on Friday 2 August at 10am with an introduction from the University and a talk from Marie-Claire Isaaman, CEO of Women in Games. Following this, teams will be formed and games developed over the 2 days.

Gals that Game provides the ideal opportunity for women to find out more about the games development industry, as well as a forum to share and put into practice creative ideas with like-minded people.

This two-day event will run from 10am to 8pm on Friday 2 August and 10am to 3pm on Saturday 3 August.

Refreshments will be provided throughout.

Over 18s only.

The terms ‘female’ and ‘women’ are inclusive of trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified.

No onsite parking available – nearest pay & display parking located at Fore Street & Duke Street car parks.
