Enterprise Tuesday is a series of free evening lectures and networking sessions managed and delivered by the Entrepreneurship Centre.
The programme aims to introduce participants to the world of business, as well as to encourage and inspire individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial ambition. It is the most popular non-assessed programme within the University and the model has been adopted by numerous other academic institutions.
Enterprise Tuesday takes place over four Tuesdays in the Michaelmas, Lent and Easter terms at Cambridge Judge Business School. The weekly format consists of a lecture following by an hour of networking.

The Enterprise Tuesday programme provides a unique experience that has inspired people to pursue entrepreneurial ambitions or develop their careers in different directions.
The lecture topics are designed to provide key information relevant to the entrepreneur and the series is co-ordinated to help with entry to the Cambridge University Entrepreneurs (CUE) Business Creation Competitions. In addition, attendees benefit from access to a range of materials and are able to develop communication skills and personal or business connections through the practical networking sessions.
Enterprise Tuesday is for those who want to:
- Find out how they can develop their business idea
- Learn the ‘how to’ by developing basic business skills
- Explore the entrepreneur inside
- Build skills needed for entry to business creation competitions
- Meet like-minded individuals and develop multi-skilled teams
- Know how to transform an idea into enterprise
- Network with experienced and successful entrepreneurs
Enterprise Tuesday is open to all University of Cambridge staff and students, members of other universities and the local business community. The series is particularly relevant for postgraduate students considering future career paths, those exploring entrepreneurial opportunities and looking to build high quality networks with experts and practitioners. It is also a chance for the business community to mix with the next generation of talent.
