This event is part of the programme of events linked to the Connected Innovation Project, funded by Norfolk Strategic Fund (NSF) and Suffolk Inclusive Growth & Investment Fund (SIGIF), which links Norfolk and Suffolk’s innovation hubs and clusters together to increase connectivity, cross sector collaboration and drive business innovation.
Hayden Allen-Vercoe
A marketer by trade, Hayden is the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of Orbital Global, a world-leading digital services and technology company based in the UK. Founded in 2003, Orbital is a Tech East 100, Future 50 and Innovate UK scaleup company and is referred to by industry luminaries as “world-leading and a digital pioneer”. The business consists of three divisions: Orbital Media (digital marketing), Orbital Research (digital Real-World Evidence) & Orbital Innovations (AI, Immersive technologies and gamification).
Asa Burrows
Asa has over 20 years experience building and leading technology teams most recently in the Financial Services, Travel industries (B2B, B2C) and across a broad range of other B2B & B2C industries.
Asa started his career working in the gaming industry building compiler routines for game platform frameworks and writing for industry magazines.
Asa was an owner and the team principle for a championship winning motorsports racing team. Throughout his career in customer communications, motorsport and computer entertainment he has garnered a loyal and sizable network of professionals within the marketing and the Intellectual Property business.
In 2005 Asa founded Nexdox, a technology company innovating in data driven communication for Financial Services and retail industries. Nexdox later merged with DSI Group which was sold to DST Systems in 2010 where Asa was appointed CIO for DST Output UK.
Asa has been a visionary, innovator and thought leader throughout his career with 14+ international awards for innovation and solutions he created
Michael Price
Michael is the CEO of Uniotec, a Norwich based business dedicated to providing innovative solutions to collect and make the most of data. Utilising LPWAN technology, they connect hard to reach places and capture data from a wide range of sensors. Applications range from footfall counting to asset tracking, demand driven cleaning to building management and bridge strike detection to electric vehicle charging.
Shemal Rajapakse
Shemal is the founder of CAP Certified. After completing a degree in Computer Science from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, Shemal founded Red Transact, a boutique digital agency specialised in B2B integrated e-commerce solutions. CAP Certified was an idea born out of the necessity to protect his own children from online harms after his seven year-old son asked to play with Fortnite.
Geraint Thomas
Geraint is the founder of Guided Innovation who inspire health and social care organisations to solve their problems using cool tech. As an innovation company, Guided Innovation solve problems by directing these companies to the best technologies to help protect them from rising costs, reducing funding, challenging recruitment and heavy regulation.
Ben Catton
Ben is the Marketing and Client Onboarding Manager at Olthem Payments. Olthem are a Suffolk based fintech business disrupting the B2B payments market. EchoPay their new payment app enables instant settlement through frictionless open banking transactions.
