What is Digital Media?

Definition of Digital Media: Digital media is digitised content that can be transmitted over the internet or computer networks. This can include text, audio, video, and graphics. This covers pretty much any form of social or formal communications and content posted on line or communicated through emails or similar through digital networks.

FAQs

I want to book for more than one person from my company?

Due to the popularity of these events we are only able to allow one person per company to attend. However, please email sue.simmons@newanglia.co.uk, if you wish a colleague to attend as well and if we have cancellations we will notify you immediately in first come, first served basis to offer another ticket.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Unfortunately parking at the Maltings is restricted and therefore we are unable to offer parking onsite unless you have a special mobility requirement. You can access the Felaw Maltings by public transport, such as buses and trains. The nearest bus stop is on Vernon Street and the train station is 10 minutes’ walk.

For this event paid for parking can be found at nearby public car parks, please see the below suggested locations, we cannot refund any parking charges incurred but the course is completely free as are all refreshments at the event:

  • St Peters Dock Car Park, Ipswich IP1 1XG
  • Cardinal Park, Grafton Way, Suffolk IP1 1AX

There are some parking on the street in front of the building but these are limited and can be restrictive in time. So please ensure you check on the signage if you try to use these locations. We cannot be held responsible for any parking charges incurred from the overrunning of the course, or parking outside of the permitted areas or zones. Please also do not park in front of any dropped curbs as this will potentially lead to a fine.
