Adventures in Automation is an evening for people who are actively experimenting with AI and automation tools in their professional life

Everyone’s somewhere on the journey. Maybe you’ve started using AI tools to speed up your writing or research. Maybe you’re building multi-step workflows that are quietly changing your working week. Maybe you’re somewhere in between, curious about what’s possible but not sure what to try next.

Adventures in Automation is an evening for people who are actively experimenting with AI and automation tools in their professional life – and who want to swap notes with others doing the same.

We’ll hear a handful of short showcases (five to ten minutes each) from people in different fields sharing what they’ve built, automated or figured out. Then we break into groups – probably organised around practice areas like sales and marketing, product development, and service operations – for open conversation about what’s working and where it’s all going.

There are no experts at the front of the room: it’s a meetup. It won’t be an evening with all the answers, but maybe you’ll get some better questions. And you might make some useful connections with other curious people at different stages of the same journey.

Who is this for? Anyone working with AI and automation tools professionally: freelancers, agency folk, startup teams, product and ops people. If you’ve moved beyond the basics and you’re starting to push these tools into your routine workflow, this evening should be interesting.

Hosted by Akcela Ventures. Drinks and snacks provided.
